08:11 pm - Dictionary Updated
The English-Alphistian vocabulary list is now at approximately 2500 words, after a revision that was started around Christmas time. Before too long, the core vocabulary will be at 3000 words, with the ultimate goal to reach 5000. That will provide speakers with most of the words they will need for everyday use, although much progress has already been made with the 2500 wordlist. Also, the Alphistian-English dictionary will be soon be revised.

This is the new Alphistian stamp which I made last week, and which I got from the stampmaker in Germany I found on the internet. This is the first really professional looking stamp for Alphistia. I'm sure there will soon be more.

02:29 pm - Away on Vacation

(source: Polska magazine, 1961)
Usually, I am like the picture above - reading about the world from a comfy chair, but when I can, I like to trot around the globe myself. Tomorrow I will leave for a two week vacation in Germany and Holland, and will not likely get a chance to update this Alphistian Times blog. I'll probably blog some though on my personal blog over at http://livejournal.com/users/alphistia.
